Spring is coming and a lot of races with it!

Warm weather in Southern Finland has woken trail runners into thinking about which trails to head to when the snow melts. Since the beginning of March the number of visits on trailrunning.fi has spiked from January and February, though even then the site was 70% ahead of numbers last year. This clearly demonstrates how trail running is becoming more and more popular by the day!

An interesting detail about the visits to our site is that people have been especially interested in finding other runners. Especially the running groups in Southern Finland have gotten a lot of clicks. Be sure to share the info to your friends if they happen to be interested in finding others interested in hitting the trails.

The event calendar has proven to be another popular section. Runners are clearly already thinking about which races to sign up for – and the should be, as many of the races are already open for sign up and two of the most popular ones,  NUTSkarhunkierros and Bodom Trail are already fully booked. The next one to run out of spots is probably Nuuksio Classic.

The Metropolitan area has other races to offer as well, for example in  Sipoonkorpi , Espoo Central Park,  Santahamina and Porvookaan isn’t that far either.
